The location is pretty serene, perfect for a retreat. A nearby footpath makes it easy to access local trails. Ideal for those looking to explore the great outdoors.
Midges swarmed in the room since the magnetic fly screen didn't fit right, rendering it nearly useless. With broken bathroom fixtures and poor air circulation, I found myself needing to bend down just to avoid banging my head. The breakfast setup was a bit awkward-having it in your room can feel cramped, and there was no one around in the morning to sort out issues. A couple of days with sour milk tested my patience for sure, and the Wi-Fi was practically nonexistent when I needed it most.

missingWrote a review on Aug 06amazing viewsoutdoor activitiescramped room
Amazing views of the Scots countryside topped off our stay, with plenty of outdoor activities right at our doorstep. Facilities like the outdoor tennis court added a fun touch to our experience.
The room felt cramped, especially with a low ceiling-I nearly banged my head trying to stand up. The bathroom had its quirks too. The shower height adjuster was broken, and it lacked essential amenities like a portable mirror, requiring some creative solutions. Breakfast was a bit of a letdown, served only at night, which cramped our morning routine. Wi-Fi struggled to keep up, leaving us disconnected more often than we’d like.
